This was CRAZY! (I returned it to the ocean immediately after taking these pictures)- a “discarded” knobbed whelk shell, with an “entire neighborhood of very different inhabitants.” I am guessing “Ms. or Mr. Krabs” is the mayor or landlord?

Didn't come out very well, but they're so cute!
This same little a**hole from two weeks ago has figured out ALL THREE of our bird feeders no matter where we put them! It even infiltrated the one with a cover that was impervious to the littler native squirrels!
MID POST UPDATE: In the process of dangling upside down to steal seeds, this lil s**t SLIPPED AND FELL OFF down a good 10 feet to the ground (pics 5 and 6)! We went to the lower floor to continue observing it, only to find that it had a FRIEND still up in our tree(pic 7)! So, we have two fox squirrels and both have been too afraid to do bird feeder acrobatics since the first one fell!
I gained their trust and was able to get some good photos while watching them for over an hour.
