There were 5 or 6 of these, sometimes feeding, at other times creeping around inside the bush for some reason. I believe that manzanita is a possible host...

On Big Leaf Maple branch.
Spores 11.5-13 X 9.5-10 µm.
The clear ones had me confused, but they have lost their color from all the rains. I scoped the clear one in the 2nd photo.

On Quercus agrifolia

At base of a hollowed stem stalk of Heracleum (Cowparsnip or Hogweed). Large-leafed ground plant.

Spores 16-17 X 6-7 µm.
Not sure of ID. Was unable to find examples of spores or micro for this sp.

Growing on a well decayed Quercus agrifolia log.

In mixed interior chaparral under Adenostoma fasciculatum, Pinus attenuata, Arctostaphylos spp., and Quercus spp.

Scores of these; more flying as the cool park warmed to the high 50's.

Does anybody have an ID for the fungus?
