Located perched amongst foliage in the island eucalyptus tree after seeing early ebird by Mark Nisbett and David Drews post. Viewed in late pm. Egret had left the area by the following morning.

I happened to look up from searching for insects and found these five looking down at me. Presumably a family group.

We saw several of these around Anglesea but they were difficult to photograph.

at least 2 of these hilltopping

Same sp. observed in and around the flowering clivias over the summer period. They are noticeably slower in movements/flight with the onset of cooler weather.
