under rock. I understand it feeds on ants. I have over the years found three, resting under rocks in this locality. Not yet seen at light. I estimate its length is about 8 mm.
Added in Dec . I have found these to be abundant at uv in a garden 300 m away in Nov/Dec 2021 and 2022.

Found on the path, it kindly let me know it was there by huffing loudly from behind a bush. Struck in my direction when I walked toward it, then huffed its way off the path.
Last image is a gif of it striking (in slow-mo), it gets itself right off the ground.
