A family of barn owls
-there was a third, but was only seen very briefly
-daytime, cloudy, 60-70F
-their darker coloring and spots suggests that the two might be female
-living in a sycamore tree hollow, in a grove of sycamores and other trees
-they were watching me, it was daytime so they were resting
