The two shells on the right and the shell on the left were found at Shelley Beach, Moruya in Sept. Oct and Nov. Of 2017. The middle shell is from Meringo and has been posted separately.
They are v. rare as beach shells in NSW.

Found in pohangina river on bank just at water line by swimming hole at kahikatea campground totara reserve.

Cabestana felipponei (Ihering, 1907)
as you can probably tell the habitat is very sloped hence some of the blurry photos :) hopefully thats enough to id? i do have a few more and another expedition could be arranged. length ranged from 4ml to 6ml and was around 3ml across when conglobated interesting "ribbed" pattern? this population seems very isolated and habitat specific whatever it may be given i didn't locate any others further down the mountain let alone in the other habitat types.
