En bosque de Fagus sylvatica.
Hundreds of these tiny fungi were seen growing on unimproved land in the backyard of property. Their caps are sunken and gills are decurrent and arched towards the edge of margin. Cups have brown spots given by the presence of pileocystidia. There are also brown cystidia on the stipe (hispid), very packed, diminishing towards the gills lightening its color. Its spore print has a dirty white tone. Clamps are present in its cells. Basidia 2-4 spored. Some spores are of bigger size due perhaps to the fact of being growing on basidia with 2 sterigmata. One specimen, bigger than the others was seeing with its gills curving outwards, almost hiding the cup surface.
Several units were growing among unimproved grass in the backyard. Its annulus falls off very easily.
