A few flocks seen flying northward along river
I presume this is juvenile Plain-backed Pipit given distribution, large size, upright stance, & that bird was wagging in a wagtail-like fashion. However malar stripe is very pronounced (unlike descriptions in W African guides) and bird is generally more marked than book descriptions. Outer tail feathers very much NOT white. All photos of same individual.
