I know this is Birds nest fungus. But what is the exact species ?
Neolentinus lepideus??? Found growing in some yard mulch near where Prince mushrooms have also been seen. (wild, NOT cultivated.)
There are multiple Cyathus species growing on dung, the inside was very fluted. Likely C. striatus. as it lacked the more raised tufted tomentum of
C. helanae, the other candidate. Not the most usual substrate, but they can occur on deer poop. Too old for spore examination. Location Approximate.
Growing from Boggy watered area, straight form the water. Beatiful fruiting.
