Sycophila male waiting at a hole for a female to exit the fig?
This series shows an Otitesella male leaving a fig (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/29441679) via a hole which was being watched by a Seres male (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/67291368) and several Sycophila males (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/67291371 https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/67291372). Once the Otitesella male had left the hole, the Seres male used it to enter the fig. Presumably the Sycophila males were waiting for a female to exit the fig? Note also the mite being carried by the wasp (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/67291370).
This series shows a male watching a hole in a fig (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/29441679) - it is blocked by an Otitesella male (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/67291369). Once that male left the hole, the Seres male used the hole to enter the fig. The hole was also being watched by several Sycophila males (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/67291372 https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/67291371).
