Individuals between 15 and 20mm in length. Found along Muddy Creek during freshwater mussel surveys.

This is a picture of a Ventridens ligera at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center in Edgewater, Maryland.
Possibly V. theloides?
Found in leaf litter near limestone ledges and cliffs, or in limestone boulders, on forested mountain slopes.
