Visiting with family on vacation out in Western MA today for our second day. In the morning we looked for fishing spots. While poking around in the yard while waiting to leave ran into 3 species of butterfly - Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, Silver-spotted skipper, and a Dunn Skipper. While fishing and along the way we spotted a Bald Eagle, Asian carp in the Housatonic River and a wood chuck. We also spotted a Red Admiral butterfly, a crayfish, a beautiful sugar maple.

In the afternoon we headed out for some swimming at Beartown State Forest. There we heard the songs of Tufted Titmouse, Red-eyed Vireo, a Norhtern Flicker and more. - Good day!
