Our Kids Zone kids came out to Oliver on Tuesday, June 27th and were awesome citizen scientists catching bugs! We caught plenty of damselflies, grasshoppers, katydids, and one butterfly! Check out our new observations.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! I am needing iNaturalist enthusiast to help teach and do a "mini bioblitz" at the park. Please respond to this if you would be interested in volunteering on Saturday, 4/8 from 10:45 am - 1 pm. Please contact me at cindy.cobb@mansfield-tx.gov for more information.

Great Backyard Bird Count is a FREE family event at Oliver Nature Park. Join
us to participate in Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the National Audubon
Society Great Backyard Bird Count. Families will count the birds at Oliver
Nature Park to help the citizen‐science project of collecting data on wild
birds. Activities will include games, making bird feeders, and nature walks.
