All of the vertebrates I saw while taking the UCNRS California Ecology and Conservation Field Course during the Spring of 2022. On the trip, we visited the oak savannas of the Diablo Mountains (Blue Oak Ranch Reserve), the coastal bluffs and woods of Cambria and San Simeon (Kenneth Norris Rancho Marino Reserve), the pine forests of the San Jacinto Mountains (James San Jacinto Mountains Reserve), the rocky desert around Borrego Springs (Anza-Borrego Desert State Park and Steele/Burnand Anza-Borrego Desert Research Center), and the remote desert wilderness of the Granite Mountains (Granite Mountains Desert Research Center and Mojave National Preserve).
