A local neighbor has this squirrel that allows her to pet it. She has had a litter that she also introduced to the food supply, however they do not allow her to pet them. She leaves food on the wall and the squirrel will come to eat it. She has also stolen flags from her back yard to build her nest. She vocalizes at other animals such as a cats and sometimes the home owner.

This squirrel was hiding between the house and AC unit. There was recent tree trimming in the area and it had been hiding there since the tree trimming more then likely it was displaced from the trimming.

So I let some local friends know I'm hunting for squirrel pictures for this project. Well they said they see this crazy squirrel in their neighborhood, it is comfortable with people getting within a couple of feet of it and it looks to be albino with spots? This day it was running down a tree when they spotted it. When getting to close it ran back up and out of site also have a video of it as well.

This was sent to me by a friend who knows I'm looking for squirrels. This guy climbed a orange tree(mandarin) grabed the fuit and started to eat it. It then drank from a bowl of water on the front porch of the house. Is possible the owners are leaving water out for the local wildlife.

Saw at the Los Angeles Arboretum in Arcadia. Was eating something in the tree above but was interested in my observation. Squirrels here are know to approach humans for food, as it is not allowed but it happens often. They have become comfortable with humans coming close to them.

Squirrel was in a public park, would stand then lay low in grass with nose down tail up and would wag it every so often. Went near a trash can but decided to not climb on it and continued to explore park until a person walked near it. Then it ran away to another area of park. It did get within about 5 feet of a person before it ran away.
