At UCLAby Moore Hall,Healthy leaves appear a bright green, similar to grass. The leaves on the ground feel almost like sandpaper. The fruiting bodies are unique, almost look like they release spores or pollen.

Healthy leaves appear shiny with a large vein down the middle splitting it into two halves with curved veins emanating from the central one. Has never flowered. House plant that has not been succeeding as of late. Would like to know what it is to try to save it. Had been thriving until winter. Has been a houseplant for its entire existence

Small succulent like plant found in the lower salt marsh. Many specimens were in the area and it was mixed with other plants. Rubbing the leaves left a salt residue on fingers. Salt and sand were visible on leaves.

Large snail found on the surface of the mudflat. Shell had a slight purple tint. Snail itself was very orange and was moving very little but alive.

Thin reddish orange worm found a few inches into the mudflat soil underneath a small hole at the surface. After being exposed to air it quickly reburrowed itself into the soil

Stink bug type beetle. Body was similar in size to a quarter. Engaging in stink bug behavior by sticking rear up but never sprayed. Found in dirt parking lot outside of estuary.

Worn found around 3-4 inches in the sand in low tidal zone. Appears to perhaps be only half a worm, unclear if cut in half before or when we found it. Part of worm we had was around 2 inches long
