Sudden to find this dead snake in my pool skimmer. But I discovered a similar live snake floating on some leaves in the water nearby. Perhaps a sibling? Will post it separately.

Would love to definitively identify this plant. I am attempting to clear my yard of invasive species. I’ve never seen it in bloom, although I did find two small red berries that I tried to capture in the photo. If it is Yaupon holly, I will gladly leave it alone. Can anyone help identify this plant? Thank you!
