Hawera South Taranaki tree. Very tall and so hard to get good photos. Hadn’t noticed it until these bright red flowers appeared.

Small bird flew into our ranch slider glass. It was stunned but seems to be recovering slowly. Very pointy beak. Green, shiny back, brown stripes on breast. Has now flown away after about 15 minutes of being left alone.
