Around 10:30 pm. Was in my car at the light and noticed the coyote pacing near the sidewalk. Not sure if it was thinking of crossing or not. I made a right off the fwy and pulled over.
It paced a few more times and then turned around and went back into the lot.

Tortuga Pinta (Trachemys scripta ssp. elegans)Observ.
cmalteseDescripción
These turtles are in a man made, stocked pond at Oak Canyon Community Park which leads me to believe they were put there.
Upon looking them up on californiaherps.com I read that they are an alien species.
There are at least 10 that I saw today.
