In the field, I initially thought juvenile Red-tailed Hawk due to it's small, compact size. Only upon viewing photos back home did I notice a few things: 1) no patagial markings 2) no pale feather tips 3) no pale shoulder marks (photo #2). I believe this could be a juvenile Broad-winged, not quite sure. Also unsure if Aug 19th is within "migration" timeline, as BW's are seen in Central TX during migration.

Note grayish chest. Best guess is Olive-sides flycatcher. A few of them in trees close to a stream.

Flying high overhead over fields / residential area. Large wingspan, as large or larger than Red-tailed. My best guess is juvenile Swainson's Hawk?
