This agouti is marking the trail, something they seem to be obsessive about. They very gracefully slow down and kind of do a "butt-swoop".

It's not clear, but this agouti is 2-3 feet off the ground; they really jump! Same family as the other foto.
Now I would like to figure out just WHY they jump . . .
it might be a "scare tactic". The camera trap has a little light that might make it nervous . . .
