Found it inside the house, possibly got in through the chimney. It was quite small (15-20cm max) and looked disoriented, it wouldn't fly out the window without help (I had the feeling it was a juvenile). After a while a second individual got in but managed to head out easily. Sorry, no better pictures.

It had been raining and this young Gaboon viper (about 30 cm long) was crossing the road which connects Mchombe/Mngeta Kotako (Kilombero Valley) to the KPL Hydro-power station on river Mngeta. Apparently a new record for this area.
