Those leaves on steroids! With a carrot-like taproot. Can aristida be this big? Is it too big for wrightiana?? I don’t know. Any thoughts or questions are welcome.

Roadside. There was something about this Chrysogonum, Cladonia, Dicanthelium combo that I found charming.

Not sure. I’m confused by all the large leaves and no little ones. Will pay another visit.

Trifolium dubiumObserv.

Edge of roadside ditch under oaks. I collected some Trifolium elsewhere yesterday, which was identified as campestre for me. Now, I have the two species side-by-side and can clearly see the flower size difference. Will look at them both under magnification to learn the other floral and petiole differences.
