Corythoichthys spp? Have not been able to identify, could it be C.schultzi due to long snout? However heat patterns and body bands look different? Any ID help would be appreciated.

x1 thread pipefish was seen for a couple of months in this area of this dive site. No longer there, may be due to the fact it was in hydroids which were slowly getting destroyed by nudibranchs.
On the wall of a pinnacle.
Holdfast = hydroids
Have seen thread pipefish in this particular region of Fiji, Namena Marine Reserve more than any other areas we dive here.
Seen in shallow sheltered bays, pinnacles and deeper reef walls.

This particular sighting was in a shallow sheltered bay of an island. Some night dives around this area the Divemaster will see up to 8 or 9!
Have also been seen on deeper walls and pinnacles in this region.
Area in Fiji called Namena Marine Reserve - tend to see them in this area more than anywhere else we dive.
