Dated 7/01/2021: Plant has continued to grow with extra shoots from the bottom. No flowers as of yet. Same pepper/curry smell from the leaves. Current height of plant is roughly 1m. No pests have attempted to eat the leaves and as you can see there small leaves which are horizontal up the stem of plant which might be creating a barrier for bugs to climb.
Dated 02/11/2020: Thought it was a capsicum at first but due to the curry smelling leaves I’ve since changed that opinion.

Lives in a hole in the ground, after hearing random noises I finally saw it running so fast up the fence (looked like a hunt was on), that I couldn’t get a proper picture of him and yeah good luck identifying. It was actually massive in size about 10cm long.

This little fella was a legend, found him disoriented on the deck and needing to chill for a bit. Spent a couple of hours with him, allowing him to recharge and now his safe and sound in a bottlebrush.
