I didn’t get a photo but i will hike back up tomorrow and capture one. Top of Mt. Eyak, above sub-alpine zone in alpine to bare rock and lichen zone. Very distinct club moss that is scaly as you would imagine a cedar. Fruiting bodies are sprouted with their scales still closed. Protruding from melted snow patches growing on rocks with black crow berry and lichens.

At first i thought this was the same Polypodium I saw growing just a few feet over. But a closer look at this shows the deeply toothed pattern of the blades versus the more serrated edges of the licorice fern (also posted on here). I found the licorice fern within a few feet of this fern. Both growing on a large rock slab on the side of the road near the ocean. Orca. Polypodium? I have no idea. It’s definitely not licorice though, licorice has smoother edges.

It reminds me of rock fern (another Polypodium but is apparently only found in eastern US) this was my next best guess. Roadside growing on a wet slab of rock with good sun exposure, poking out of hummocks of moss and debri.

Not confident about the latin - iNaturalist only has Alnus alnobetula crispa (mountain alder) and thinleaf alder. Both have iNaturalist accounts around here but neither are what I am used to classifying alder - Alnus crispa/sinuata

Not actually sure on this ID. I know it’s a vaccinium but the very reddish twigs are throwing me off. Most of the vaccinium i saw on this walk had green twigs (assuming they were ovalifolium). Top of Ski Hill. Below subalpine, muskeg mix.
