Wondering about the light green lichen in the middle, not the blue green/brown one….they seem like two separate species but I’m wondering if they are the same.

Is it likely this is a mute or trumpet? I think mute but didn’t see a prominent bump on their beak.

In the boreal forest. Seemed like a long palm/pad print though no nails or toes to see in the snow. Gate seemed like a small black bear. Black bear tracks were reported up higher in elevation near the cabin in the last week. Less than a foot of snow, a bit surprising they are still active.

Not sure if it’s fisher or Martin size but I believe five toes, unless that’s me missing a direct register. Seemed like a bound with clusters of three tracks which I believe is weasel family.
