So which type of Sunfish? Is the Family Sunfish? So many right off my dock on White Lake, Douro, ON. There are lily pads close by. The lily pads attract a lot of fish. I am not sure how to identify this fish.

Catching this fish, during fishing season was the highlight for my youngest. The cottage life has our family appreciating outdoors and the local wildlife. This species is hard to identify the type of fish.

Spotted. Grazing alone. Neighbors spotted a buck or adult in the shallow part of white lake...could be the mother with her fawn close by. Very fortunate to see.
