Found two separate burrows, each with big throw mounds of dirt and obscure tracks. Found clearer prints in a muddy spot nearby. Armadillo has been seen a few times on the road the last months by Tremont staff

Dagger sp. caterpillar found riddled with holes. Caterpillar was a dried husk, evidence of a mummy-wasp (Aleiodes sp.). Stigmata Mummy Wasp is only gregarious species in Eastern US. I counted 53 exit holes!
