Orange shoots, mostly upright with red gemmae. Green leaves below three leaved. Very common on granite boulders in the area forming large cushions.

At the edge of a flush. Mostly green plants but some with a ginger hue. All with a dark red-brown stem. Stem leaves bluntly rectangularish. Fascicles with 2 or 3 spreading branches (varying on the same plant). Huge terminal bud.

Infected with Sphaerellothecium minutum. In Granite rocks, frequent in the area.

Very regularly pinate branches. Dark point at top of stem visible between leaves. In a base rich flush.

Huge population at far end of main lawn. Sorry pictures aren't great. Leaves glaucous above, shiny green below, new leaves folded in shoots and fringe of hairs for a ligule.
