We either have a very young one, or there is a wide variety of these, or we misidentified it... All the stink bugs I’ve ever seen thus far have looked alike, and not like this one at all... stink bugs have always been bigger, and more uniform in appearance (brown and oval, while this one appears to have 4 as oppose to 2 segments). I see from the catalog that others have identified ones that look like mine as the brown marmorated stink bug, but 98% of that catalog looks different than this, so my confidence is low on this one being presently correctly identified.

Very tiny! Assassin bug is the best guess so far, unclear on whether a leaf hopper, pale green, or four spurred variety — maybe too young to tell. Since he’s all green I’m going with pale green assassin bug.

According to my research this is a young one, “immature (subadult)”. He introduced himself walking around my office desk while I worked today.
