A major rediscovery after searching for it for several years. This was named Stobaea pinnatifida var. angustata in 1865, but then left unresolved in the last revision of Berkheya, but distinguishable from all similar spp. In specialised habitat: renosterbos-restioid fynbos on the western margin of a seasonal wetland, silty-sandy soil.
