First observed this lizard out in the open when it moved (see 2nd photo) note almost impossible to see due to the natural camoflage. It ran into a nearby bush where I was able to see it inside where it was playing dead. (first and third photos).

I am not a real habitual tracker of domestic cats but this one I had to share ... I was out on a roadrun and initially saw this animal from a distance, thought it might be a bobcat until I observed the longer tail. I approached and saw the cat was friendly, it let me pet it and could see it looked like it had an apple airtag. Beautiful looking cat.

was about 100 yards or so from start of Ridgeline where it makes an aprupt turn to the south.
