I am a self-taught naturalist and life-long birder raised in Southern California and living in East Tennessee with decades of experience watching and listening to birds. I also have a good general knowledge of insects, reptiles, amphibians, and plants. I'm a member of the Knoxville Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society, and I co-lead monthly birding walks on the fourth Wednesday of every month at Seven Islands State Birding Park.
My husband and I enjoy getting out in nature as much as possible to observe and document birds, butterflies, dragonflies, damselflies, robber flies, tiger beetles, and any other insects and plants we might find.
