I've been birding about 15 years, did field work with nesting birds for five, and now lead local bird walks in the Bay Area and volunteer at a wildlife hospital. Trying my hand at helping identifying birds partially to improve myself on field marks. Staring at photos makes me realize how much I use habitat, sounds and nearby birds for ID.
I'm also interested in learning about any and all plants, invertebrates and anything else that is in my area.
