Once upon a time, I was a toddler chasing sparrows at the park. As a child, I scoured tide pools on the shorelines of PEI for sea stars and crabs. During grad school, I wrangled freshwater leeches.

It's been an interesting life pursuing a career in biology. I hold degrees in Wildlife Biology (BSc) and Environmental Biology (MSc), and serve as Vice President for South Peel Naturalists' Club. I am proud to currently work in environmental consulting as an ecologist, which allows me to study many different species across Ontario (from Caribou to Butler's Gartersnakes!)

I love turtles and snakes above all, followed by birds, mammals, and amphibians. That covers a lot of ground, but the more I learn, the more my interests grow!
