I have studied bird communities of high conservation concern on the Gulf Coast in relation to vegetation succession. I have also studied black vulture communities near landfills. My other interests include insects and fungi! I enjoy learning about cross-taxonomic relationships and promoting undesirable and/or unattractive species.
