I am a recently retired BLM Idaho State Botanist who loves to explore remote and intact landscapes. Before working in Idaho, I had spent two decades in the eastern Sierra, working as the BLM Bishop Field Office Botanist which encompasses the northern Mojave, Sierra Nevada and Great Basin Floristic Regions. Seasonal Botany work before Bishop, CA took me to the North Cascades and Gates of the Arctic working for the National Park Service, and to Tahoe and Sierraville, CA working for the US Forest Service. I have a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder and an MS in Plant Physiology from the University of Nevada, Reno.
