I'm an amateur wildlife enthusiast living in Marin, and I have particular interest in intraspecies genetic and phenotypic variety. I earned my B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology (Genetics, Genomics, and Development track) at UC Berkeley, and was a genetics Ph.D. candidate at Yale for several years doing computational genomics research before deciding to pursue genetic counseling. I now am a genetic counselor at UCSF specializing in hereditary cancer syndromes.
I would love to do some genome analysis on specimens in the future, if the opportunity arises.
