HI! I'm Emily and I am an ecologist who primarily studies butterflies and bees (but birds sometimes work their way into my projects). I got my PhD from Oklahoma State University and my masters from University of Nebraska Omaha. I do a ton of field work and love uploading photos from every trip.
I usually rely on iNat's algorithms to quickly ID photos and then on off days I'll go back and correct any obvious mistakes. So I truly appreciate everyone who helps correct and ID my observations, before I can get to them.
My favorite part of the iNat community is learning which taxa colleagues, friends, and neighbors love, and making sure to get a photos of those if I see them when I'm out in the field.
