I am a biochemist by trade. I enjoy looking for animals in the wild, especially reptiles, birds, and mammals. Most of my time in the outdoors is spent in the San Gabriel Mountain foothills in Los Angeles County. I combine my enjoyment of running and snakes by trying to run when the conditions are good for snakes to be active.
