I'm an avid, yet humble naturalist and ecologist. My current home is near the community of Wren, in the Mary's River Watershed, in the Coast Range of western Oregon. I'm a recent transplant from Southeast Alaska, where I worked with community-based NGO's on salmon habitat restoration. Currently I am a PhD graduate student at Oregon State University studying forest ecology and working on fascinating questions about biodiversity in managed forests.
