I have a B.S. in Natural Resource Ecology and Management with a concentration in Wildlife Ecology and a M.S. in Marine Biology.

  • Population dynamic surveys of Great Whites in Mossel Bay, South Africa
  • Land-based cetacean tracking surveys in Mossel Bay, South Africa
  • Tidal pool invertebrate surveys in Mossel Bay, South Africa
  • Shark tagging in South Africa (catsharks) and Alabama (Great Hammerhead, Sandbar sharks)
  • Herp identification at Hooper Rd. Park in Baton Rouge
  • Reef fish & urchin surveys in Tofo Beach, Mozambique
  • Acoustic tracking and monitoring of 2 spawning aggregations of Yellowtail Parrotfish in Reef Bay, St. John, US Virgin Islands (M.S. thesis)
  • A.I.-trained AUV to detect fish spawning aggregations of groupers and snappers off the shelf in St. Thomas and St. John, US Virgin Islands (current project)
