I’m a wildlife conservation photographer living in Allen, TX. I studied advertising and photography at Southern Methodist University and have a career producing photo and video shoots at a global cosmetics company. My husband and I volunteer at In-Sync Exotics, a non-profit wildlife sanctuary dedicated to the rescue of neglected, abused or unwanted exotic cats. I'm on the Advisory Committee for Texas Native Cats, an organization focused on education, advocacy, outreach and improving the lives of our very important but often misunderstood native cats of Texas. I’m a contributor to The Canid Project and I’m their Texas Outreach Representative. I'm a certified Texas Master Naturalist, Blackland Prairie chapter, and I volunteer at a local nature preserve, the Connemara Conservancy, where I help with the restoration of native habitat. I also serve on the Board of Directors for CREA, an organization dedicated to conserving critical habitat in the Panamanian rainforest, home to five different species of wild cats. I'm using iNaturalist as a tool to learn more about nature and to document some of the things I'm observing. More of my photography can be seen here: www.karinsaucedo.com.
