Kungoso is an environmental education center. Its 14 acres property has been is in a state of conservation and assisted natural regeneration for over twenty years. Its activities and programs are focused on education, conservation, youth leadership and sustainable development. Kungoso is located in Mali, just outside of the capital Bamako, in the village of Tièguena in the Commune of Baguineda.
Kungoso's mission is to help the individual develop his/her mental, physical, and intellectual capacity. it targets Schools, youth groups, community groups, professionals. At Kungoso we appreciate the beauty, diversity, and interdependence of all forms of life and all resources, and develop an ethical basis for guiding the relationships of people with the rest of the natural community.
