I am a retired plant physiologist, published researcher, university professor that spent way too much time working at the sub-cellular level and imaging with both transmission and scanning electron microscopes. Now I am enjoying looking at the big and the beautiful. I am most fascinated by ephemeral wildflowers and insects. Little by little I am even making some "friends" of these critters by getting to know them.
