I am a nature geek currently living in Canmore, Alberta. Before that I was in Montreal for many years. I do try to get around as much as possible. I grew up in Alberta, and I worked a number of years as a biological technician across North America before moving into Environmental Sociology (studying the human side of environmental issues).
My strongest groups are birds, herps, butterflies, and mammals, but I am working to improve myself with moths, native bees, and other families of insects as well. I need to spend more time with plants.
