I am a seasonal interpretive ranger at Cedar Breaks National Monument. I taught high school biology for over 20 years and have a broad interest in living things. I particularly enjoy botany. I pay attention to the distribution and phenology of plants at Cedar Breaks and across the Markagunt Plateau and enjoy seeing endemic species within the national monument when I come across them. I also enjoying seeing species pushing their range and appearing in places I had not seen them before. I spend most of my recreational time observing living things in Southern Utah, throughout the Great Basin and into the Mojave desert regions.
