I am an amateur naturalist, commercial and wildlife photographer, and life-long birder with decades of experience watching and listening to birds and observing nature. I have a good general knowledge of insects, reptiles, amphibians, and plants. My husband and I are members of the Knoxville Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society and occasionally lead birding field trips at hotspots around East Tennessee.
My husband and I work as a team and enjoy getting out in nature as much as possible to observe and document birds, butterflies, moths, dragonflies, damselflies, robber flies, flower flies, tiger beetles, hemiptera, and any other insects and plants we might find. We are currently working on adding new observations and species to the GSMNP ATBI.
