I am a biologist for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, based in Austin, Texas. I work on evaluating species under consideration for listing under the Endangered Species Act, and on developing strategies to recover species that are currently considered threatened or endangered.

Currently, I'm developing an assessment of the risk of extinction for Pseudemys gorzugi; I'm the Service's lead biologist for this species. I'm also the lead biologist for two lizards being considered for classification under the Endangered Species Act: Holbrookia lacerata and Holbrookia subcaudalis.
